Starting from September 4, 2024, McDonald’s in New Zealand are bringing back McDonald’s Monopoly, offering a chance to win millions in prizes!

This year, in New Zealand, there’s an impressive pool of over $229 million in prizes up for grabs! As always, a wide range of prizes awaits, including cars, shopping vouchers, fuel cards, home theatres, and much more!
There are two ways to win: through “Instant Wins,” where 1 in 4 tickets immediately secures a victory, or via the “Collect to Win” properties.
Instant Wins can yield Food Prizes such as Big Macs, McChickens, and Sundaes, as well as Non-Food Prizes like Free Days Out and Free Hobby Sessions, among others.
Additionally, there are “Collect to Win” properties. By gathering the complete set of Monopoly properties in one colour, you stand a chance to win substantial prizes, such as a Volkswagen T Cross R-Line and Free Fuel for a Year!

This year, participants will need to utilize the McDonald’s app to scan their tickets.

The Chest, Chance Tickets & Second Chance
Similar to previous years, you can use the app to scan your Chance tickets and discover the property or prize you’ve won.
The Chest is making a return as well. Scanning every five property tickets or tokens earns you another Chance ticket, increasing your odds of an instant win to 1 in 5!
Moreover, each ticket you scan grants you an entry into the Second Chance Draw, offering a chance to win unclaimed prizes worth over $250 after the promotion concludes. The Second Chance draw will take place on December 7, 2023.
How to Get Game Tickets
To acquire game tickets, you’ll need to make purchases of McDonald’s products outlined below. Even value meals will reward you with tickets. For example, a Medium meal earns you 2 tickets, while a Large meal grants you 4 tickets. If you opt for a value meal that includes one of the specified burgers, you’ll receive an extra ticket!

To secure Collect to Win Prizes, you’ll need to assemble the full property set associated with each prize.
Each property set features one rare ticket. This is the ticket you’ll truly need to claim the prize, so hold onto it if you find one! The “maximum no. of prizes” column indicates the total number of rare tickets available throughout the country.
The others are common tickets. Entering these will give you a shot at opening The Chest and entering the second chance draw.
